SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc., (SFC) provided surveying, engineering, planning and permitting services for the 4.8 million dollar development of a modern camping resort located on 150 acres at the foothills of the White Mountains. Overlooking Huckins Pond, The Bluffs at Danforth Bay has 300+ large campsites, two beaches, three swimming pools, four playgrounds, hiking and biking trails, a boat launch and a 10,000 square-foot clubhouse complete with heated pools, a fitness center, showers, a laundry room and three tennis courts. The owners envisioned developing a Recreation Destination combining comfortable, modern and fun amenities with the experience of traditional camping. SFC helped to bring that vision to realization by working closely with the client, Town and State to ensure every step, from conceptual planning and surveying through design, permitting and construction, met or exceeded the needs and expectations of all involved. Specific work included surveying, site development, site plan and design, bridge design, road design, building design, water distribution design, septic systems design, Local and State Permit preparation, submission and representation at public hearings. The most recent work was a 50 camp site expansion on Owl’s Head.
