“Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds.” – Gordon B Hinckley
Wendy has more than 20 years of managerial and accounting experience. She started working for SFC in the accounting department in March 1998. In February 2004 she resigned to stay home and raise her son. After 8 years, Wendy decided to get back into the work force. After a phone call to SFC, she was welcomed back with open arms. Wendy returned to SFC part-time in November 2012 doing various accounting duties.
In August 2015 an opportunity presented itself for her to be SFC’s full-time controller. With her son now off to college, the timing could not have been better. Wendy loves her job and the wonderful people that surround her.
Wendy enjoys being outdoors whenever possible. She enjoys golfing, bowling, hiking, kayaking, bike riding and watching her son and husband play football. She is a die-hard football and hockey fan cheering on the Patriots and Bruins. Her family and friends participate in the Mud Bowl every year. This is a charity event held in North Conway, NH where 12 teams, over 3 days, play football in a field of 10 inches of mud. Each team also assembles and enters a float in a parade down Main Street. The charities that benefit from this very fun event include; North Conway Community Center, Vaughan Learning Center and Carroll County Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Wendy and her family have been participating in this event since 1995. Go GUMBYS!
